Call for Proposals-Delta Serials Conference, EXTENDED through April 1!

The Inaugural Delta Serials Conference will take place Thursday, July 27 through Friday, July 28, 2017, on Arkansas State University’s Jonesboro campus, with noted expert Jeffrey Beall as keynote. This conference will focus on advances, developments, and continuing issues in the management and use of all serial library products. Beall will discuss open access journals and predatory publishing.

Join us on Wednesday, May 10, for our annual Member Conference, sponsored by Credo Reference, featuring Gennie Gebhart of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) as keynote! A researcher and advocate for EFF, her work revolves around the conviction that, as access to information technologies expand and become more complex, so do threats to user security and privacy. Her keynote address will speak to the security and privacy implications of “fake news” and how libraries are positioned to help protect users in that realm.
