eShelf℠ Scheduling a Spring Tour

Interested in learning more about Amigos eShelf℠ Service and how it can enhance your library’s e-book collection? Great news! We are looking for sites to host our upcoming Amigos eShelf℠ Spring Tour.

Christine Peterson, eShelf℠ Service Manager, will be traveling to cities in our region (and outside our region, if asked) to demonstrate and discuss Amigos eShelf℠ Service. We need your feedback to discover how we can shape this service to best support libraries.

We are looking for sites that can provide:

• A room with Internet access for 2 hours
• A data projector
• Tables and chairs
• Easy parking for those coming from off-site

Please note: the rooms do not have to be large; discussion is the focus, so groups will be limited.

If you or your staff are interested in this service, if you wanted time to really focus on what this service does (or what it could do), or if you’ve wanted a chance to provide feedback on what we’ve done so far, please contact Christine to discuss becoming a host site. If you can't host but would be interested in attending, let us know so we can notify you when the sessions are scheduled. We want to hear from you!

• We've partnered with eBooksAreForever.com to provide you with vetted, indie titles through eShelf℠. They come with a 3-user perpetual license and you can purchase the entire collection for your library! Your patrons can download them through your ILS or discovery service.
