Cataloging Librarian -- Angelo State University -- San Angelo, TX
This full time, entry-level professional cataloging position works mainly M-F on tasks within Technical Services with occasional rotations in the early evening or weekends. Primary duties lie in performing original and copy-cataloging using MARC21 formats for various forms of media. The position also assists with other professional activities of the Research and Collections Unit, such as covering reference desk rotations (virtual and F2F), maintaining research guides, and serving as a college liaison. New graduates of ALA-accredited library science programs with an interest in and completed courses related to cataloging are encouraged to apply. Training and mentorship will be provided.
Starting pay: $48,000

The Porter Henderson Library and its building partners serve as a central academic service point to everyone on campus and its surrounding community members.
