At the May 13 Amigos Member Business Meeting, the Amigos Board of Directors announced the recipients of its 2015 Amigos Fellowship and Opportunity Awards. Among those receiving funds was the University of Texas at Arlington for its project entitled "Innovation Beyond the Stacks: UT Arlington Libraries Delivers the Digital Audio Experience Studio."
The new fiscal year, and my term as Chair of the Amigos Board of Directors, is fully underway. Before I outline what the Amigos Board intends to focus on this year, I want to thank my fellow Directors for their faith in my ability to lead Amigos as its Chair this year. Once again, your Board is composed of a number of outstanding individuals eager to apply their time and talents toward making Amigos the best organization it can be, and it is an honor to lead them.
