Nominating Committee Seeks Amigos Board Candidates

The Amigos Nominating Committee is seeking candidates to serve on the Amigos Board of Directors. At the May 13, 2015, election conducted during the annual Amigos Member Business Meeting, those designated as Voting Representatives of Amigos member libraries will elect three librarians and one independent director to serve three-year terms on the Board.

Ask Amigos Question - Is it ok to post pictures of children on social media since they were taken in a public place, (library), or should we be obtaining permission from patrons to take their picture and post/publish them?

Apply for the 2015 Mango Languages/NMRT Professional Development Grant

We are excited to announce that members of ALA's New Members Round Table (NMRT) can apply to receive a grant, sponsored by Mango Languages, which will cover expenses to attend the ALA Annual Conference, June 26-June 30, 2015, in San Francisco, CA.
