OCLC Americas Regional Council Member Meeting and Symposium Set for ALA

ALA attendees, join OCLC member-leaders and staff June 28 for updates on OCLC products and services, a Regional Council business meeting, and the next keynote address in our "Collective Insight-Driven by Shared Data" series. Those unable to attend can participate virtually from their computers or view a recording at a later time.

The EZproxy 5.7 release is now available from the OCLC Web site

New features added to EZproxy 5.7 increase the system’s flexibility for additional local control, including the following:

  • A new config.txt option, MimeFilter has been added to allow EZproxy to determine which object types should support URL rewriting. This way, libraries can have finer-grained control over what object types (javascript, pdf, text or HTML) are being proxied, allowing greater flexibility in configuring access to e-content.

Skip Prichard named OCLC President and CEO

Most recently, he was President and CEO of Ingram Content Group Inc., which provides a broad range of physical and digital services to the book industry
