The John M. Olin Library at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, an Amigos member, was recently honored as a recipient of the 2012 U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) Depository Library of the Year Award. The award was presented at the 2012 Depository Library Council Meeting and Federal Depository Library Conference, October 15-18 in Arlington, VA.
A growing number of Amigos Members are taking advantage of the popular BBC Shakespeare Series offered in streaming video from Ambrose Video Publishing, an Amigos vendor partner.
The Institute for Museum and Library Services encourages museums of all sizes and types to participate in free webinars and submit applications to receive funding. Each year, Amigos’ Imaging and Preservation Service Unit assists many museums with preservation projects.
