Amigos will be participating in the Oklahoma Library Association's annual conference, March 31-April 2, at the Marriott Southern Hills Hotel in Tulsa. Attendees are encouraged to drop by and visit with Amigos staff in Booth 4 in the exhibit hall.
Today, libraries and archives are responsible for taking care of a variety of materials. It's not just books or paper and digital files, but also photos, art, textiles, and even taxidermied animals. Most library and archives professionals haven’t had the training to work with any of these materials.
Barbara Stripling, 2013-2014 President of the American Library Association, will be a featured speaker at the 2014 Oklahoma Library Association's March 31-April 2 in Tulsa.
